Escape to beautiful Monterey Bay and enjoy sweeping views from a private luxury residence!
This beautiful retreat sits high atop a building that overlooks the Monterey Bay and has been recognized as one of the most beautiful buildings on the Monterey Peninsula—awarded several architectural awards and featured on front page of several magazines. The historic four-story “Grove Building”, originally built in 1927, has recently been dramatically and totally restored. At the very top level are two fabulous private penthouse units.
Activities
The area is surrounded by breathtaking beauty and in close proximity to world-famous Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey, Spanish Bay and Big Sur. During your stay you’ll discover the many restaurants, shops, attractions, and world-class golfing located mere blocks away. (The U.S. Open is held each June and the AT&T Bing Crosby Pro-Am is held during February to name just two). Also of interest are the forests, trails, deep sea fishing, theatres, galleries, museums, and the many notable wineries close by. The John Steinbeck house and the world-famous Monterey Bay Aquarium are just walking distance from the retreat.
Climate
For those escaping the seasonal heat or cold, Pacific Grove’s weather is usually cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter due to the ocean’s proximity. This unique climate makes it the perfect escape throughout the year.
Accomodations
The penthouse units can sleep up to 8, but comfortably accommodates two families of four or more. It is elegantly furnished with 4 bedrooms including four marble-finished bathrooms. Your stay is further enhanced by two complete gourmet kitchens appointed with state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, custom granite countertops, and an entry wine bar area. A large dining table that seats 12 will provide for a great evening of dining. Afterwards, enjoy the full stereo-surround sound throughout the Penthouses or watch a movie on one of the four LED HD TVs.
Nothing in this area can top the incredible view of Monterey Bay. Our spacious full-length balcony with an 180-degree view allows you to sit outside and take it all in. And outside you’ll find two separate stainless steel gas grills, tables with seating for 20 or more, and propane heaters to keep you and your guests comfortably warm if the fog rolls in for the evening.
